Is Researcher Associate at UNESP Center for Scientific Computing (Núcleo de Computação Científica da Universidade Estadual Paulista – NCC/UNESP), working on the CoE - ML. He holds a Ph.D. from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (EPUSP), and a Master from Universidade Católica de Santos (Unisantos). He has experience in software development focused on parallel programming and distributed computing since 2005.

He did his Bachelor in Mathematics (1995), and Master in Science (MSc) in Combinatorial Optimization (1998) at Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), he also did his Doctoral (DSc) in Computer Graphics (2004) at Pontifical University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). Worked for 15 years at Tecgraf Institute/PUC-Rio as a Researcher, Project Manager and for 8 years as Manager of Computational Geophysics Group, during this period was responsible for several Software Development and R&D projects for Geophysics, and other fields of the Oil&Gas industry, with strong focus on innovation.

Veronica is currently a lecturer at the Physics Department at Universidad de los Andes where she teaches computational methods. She is a physicist form Universidad Nacional de Colombia with a PhD in physics from the Universitaet Hamburg.

Carlos Eduardo is a Computer Science PhD student at Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia, working on a new concept of frameworks for distributed systems. As part of the Networks and Distributed Systems lab at Universidad del Valle, he worked as a system administrator for the campus cluster, providing support for research groups looking to deploy their scientific workloads.

Carlos Is an Assistant Professor of the Informatics and Systems Engineering School from Universidad Industrial de Santander. Jaime is a High Performance and Scientific Computing Consultant, an e-architectures researcher, and is currently processing visualization. His areas of expertise include multiprocessing, load balancing,
Scheduling, heterogeneous and accelerated computing. He is currently a teacher in Numerical Analysis, Distributed Systems, Modeling and Simulation (Scientific Computing), Performance Evaluation, Systems Architecture and Scalable Architectures.

Saber leads the Computational Scientists team at the KAUST Supercomputing Core Laboratory, providing scientific and application support and training.
Saber received his MSc and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Houston in 2008 and 2010 respectively.

Joined UDEL in Fall 2015 as an Assistant Professor at the Computer & Information Sciences (CIS) department and Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (CBCB). Sunita also holds an Adjunct position with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Houston. She was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Dept. of Computer Science at the University of Houston, Texas, advised by Prof. Barbara Chapman. Her interests and areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, the following: High Performance Computing (HPC), Applications: Radiation Transport, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), Molecular Dynamics, High-Level Programming Models, Deep Learning, Validation and Verification of Testsuites.

João is a Computer Scientist graduated from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) and master in Computational Modeling by the same institution.

Holds a B.S. in Applied Physics (minor in Instrumentation & Microelectronics) and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (major in Computer Engineering) from the University of São Paulo (USP). He works with the development of high performance computing systems and distributed systems since 2001.

Has a Ph.D. on Computer Science from the Mathematics and Statistics Institute of the University of São Paulo with emphasis on Artificial Intelligence. He accounts for over 10 years of experience on software development.

Is a undergraduate student on Systems Analysis and Development at Technology College of São Paulo (Faculdade de Tecnologia de São Paulo). He has participated of the CERN School of Computing 2017 at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
